After 900 years of space and time, the most famous Time Lord, The Doctor is now meeting one of the most famous wizards of the 21st century. Writer of the Harry Potter series JK Rowling has said "Harry Potter and Doctor Who seem to somehow fit, I'm delighted Steven (Moffat) has agreed to do it". The episode will be called "Magic Time" and will be written entirely by the author of the series herself. The episode will star Matt Smith and Daniel Radcliffe, no other actors have been announced yet. The art dept. of Doctor Who have created a poster, nothing official but just to give you a glimpse of what to expect...
"Magic Time" will feature the Doctor's sonic screwdriver somehow becoming a wand, and in fact, Harry's wand becoming a sonic screwdriver. JK has stressed that after his appearance in The Deathly Hallows: Part 2, He Who Must Not Be Named, will not be making a return.
The episode will air as part of BBC One's Children in Need 2011. Be sure to tune in!!
